MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly considering rushing back Sergio Reguilon for Saturday’s crunch clash with Brentford.

The Red Devils have had a dismal start to the new season, losing six games so far.

Their latest defeat came against Galatasaray last night, leaving United bottom of their Champions League group.

It came just days after a home loss to Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

And Erik ten Hag is now exploring options to shake up his starting XI.

The Red Devils have been hit by several big injuries this season, most notably to their defence.

Left-backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are long-term absentees.

Right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has also been missing, while centre-back Lisandro Martinez is out for several months with a fresh metatarsal problem.

Loanee Reguilon joined United from Tottenham late last month and made a strong impact before also suffering an injury setback.

He has since been replaced in the side by Sofyan Amrabat, a midfielder by trade.

But the Manchester Evening News claims Ten Hag is considering rushing Reguilon back into the team for Saturday’s game with Brentford.

The Spaniard is believed to have made good progress from a muscle injury that kept him out of the last two games.

And with an international break coming up, Reguilon may be risked against the Bees so United can have more stability in defence.

Speaking after the Galatasaray defeat, Ten Hag admitted the left side of his team was “unbalanced.”

He said: “There are no excuses. Maybe we have a little unbalance [on the] left side but we can’t make the errors we are making.

“We have to do better, we have to win our games.”
