A SHOPPER has been rushed to hospital after a car ploughed into a Poundland store.
Shocking pictures show the damage to the shopfront in Longbridge, Birmingham.

The driver of the car, a man, was treated for a suspected medical episode before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
A woman was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to the same hospital.
A spokesperson for Poundland has said: “We can confirm that just before midday, a car drove into the front of our Longbridge store.
“While it would be wrong to speculate as to why this occurred, we’re grateful for the prompt attendance of the emergency services who’ve dealt with the incident and ensured those involved were swiftly transported to hospital and we wish them a speedy recovery.
“We’re not aware of any serious injuries to customers or colleagues but this was an unexpected and distressing event for all those involved.
“It goes without saying we’re offering every support to our colleagues in the store.”
