The broadcaster posed in a leather-style slit skirt and a top from League of Ireland side Cork City at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg.

And reaction from wider afield than Ireland was just as glowing.

The Portugal captain made little impact as a contest of few chances finished 0-0, although he did net his spot-kick when Robert Martinez‘s men exited 5-3 on penalties.

The 37-year-old herself explained her tactical decision in picking a Cork top.
And she appeared to reckon critics of the match should… chill out.
