Yamal Lamine drove down the right-hand side before cutting inside and curled the ball to Williams.
The Athletico Bilbao ace then slotted his effort past Jordan Pickford and into the goal.
Earlier in the match fans hit out at Dani Carvajal as the defender was spotted trying to troll Bukayo Saka.
The Real Madrid man gestured by turning his hands in front of his eyes at the Arsenal star after fouling him.
