Cops confirm girl, 11, wasn’t in car when fireball crash killed mum, dad & 2 sisters as family ‘absolutely heartbroken’

POLICE have confirmed an 11-year-old girl was not in the car when a crash killed her mum, dad and two sisters.

Shannen Morgan, Shane Roller and two of their daughters Lillie and Rubie died in the fiery crash near Wakefield on Sunday.

They were travelling in a Ford Focus along the A61 when they collided with a motorcycle being ridden by a man and woman at around 3.54pm.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, but they were pronounced dead a short time later.

The man and woman on the motorcycle – the rider and pillion passenger on the motorbike – were also killed.
