Fred went wild during France’s semi-final win in rugby sevens

The host nation kept scoring as they beat South Africa 19-5

The reality TV star jumped and danced with fans in the Stade de France

Sirieix appeared to be engulfed in the Olympic spirit as France come from behind to claim a 19-5 victory over the African powerhouse.

Dupont’s side later won the first gold medal for the hosts after beating double Olympic champions Fiji 28-7 in the Stade de France, which will later hold the athletics.

And Fred’s semi-final celebrations gave fans a taste of what he might be like if his daughter claims an Olympic medal in diving this week.

London-born teenager Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix – who is a double European champion – is a world-class diver for Team GB.

The 19-year-old will perform in the women’s synchronised 10m next Wednesday, and the single 10m platform on August 5.

Dad Fred is expected to be a studio guest for the diving competitions, where he could be required to analyse his daughter’s performance.

The BBC wrote: “Think Fred enjoyed the rugby sevens.”

While a fan replied on X: “They need you on every day! What eloquent passion Bravo!”

Elsewhere, South Africa won the bronze medal match after claiming a 26-19 victory over Australia.
