SAMIR NASRI once offered out Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini for a fight, claims former team-mate Joleon Lescott.

The former midfielder was furious at the way Mancini spoke to him one day at the training ground, so he threatened to attack the Italian.

Lescott revealed he eavesdropped on the incident, with both Nasri and Mancini believing there was nobody around.

He said on That Peter Crouch Podcast: “I’ve heard Samir come in and he’s gone, ‘you, outside! F***ing outside now! You will never speak to me like that again, I’m not Mario Balotelli, get outside!

“So Mancini’s got up and he’s like ‘come to my office’ and he’s [Nasri’s] going ‘no I’m not coming into your office, get outside now’ – he’s calling him outside to have a fight with him.

“He’s like ‘come outside, I’m going to f*** you up’. This is why I have a lot of respect for Nasri because he did it on his own, it wasn’t for show.

“The manager said ‘Samir calm down’. He said ‘No! I’m not calming down, I’m not Mario, you won’t speak to me like that’.

“And then that’s calming down and then David Platt sees the manager so comes in and says ‘Samir, calm down’. He (Nasri) said ‘Shut up, you’re just here to suck his d***’.”

Nasri also had a squabble with Pep Guardiola during his time at City, telling the Spaniard to “shut up” after he screamed at him for being overweight.

He even had a row with France manager Didier Deschamps in 2014 after he was left out of the squad for the World Cup despite helping City win the league.

Nasri recalled the story saying: “He screwed up my dream. Playing a World Cup in the country of football [Brazil] was my thing. I had a crazy good season.

“I thought I was going to Brazil to destroy the World Cup. I believed it. We [City] were crowned [Premier League] champions and I scored in the League Cup final.

“When you see the names of the players called up, I blew a fuse. I thought he is taking the p*** with me.”
