BIRKENHEAD (4.15 Catterick, nap)
Should get a soft lead in a race that won’t take much winning. He’s never won off a mark this high, but he’s in cracking nick and has a good course record. He can bounce out under David Nolan and, if left unchallenged, he will be very tough to pass.
ISABELLA BEE (2.30 Worcester, nb)
Was coming to win on chase debut at this track before making a shuddering error at a crucial stage. Her winning chance was gone afterwards, but she stuck on gamely and races off the same mark. Down in trip, she can get off the mark.
ALMANJOOR (2.45 Catterick, treble)
Looked set to be tailed off last time but launched home in the final furlong. An extra furlong will be perfect and he can bounce late to shed his maiden tag.
