ARSENAL are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino.

The Spaniard was left out of Erreala’s LaLiga clash against Rayo Vallecano on the weekend ahead amid reports of a potential switch to the Emirates.

Meanwhile, multiple Premier League clubs are eyeing up a move for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
