A CHILD has been rushed to hospital after being bitten by two dogs.

Police were called to Howe Lane in Poringland, South Norfolk, at 9.30am on Friday.

A child was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries.

The child is still in hospital.

The owner of the two dogs – German Shepherd and Dogue de Bordeaux crossbreeds – has handed them over to the police.

A Norfolk Constabulary spokeswoman said they will be destroyed.
