PIERS MORGAN believes Mikel Arteta must make two key changes in order to make Arsenal title winners.

The Gunners secured a crucial three points on Sunday as Gabriel Martinelli’s late winner earned them a 1-0 win over Manchester City.

The reigning champions have now lost back-to-back Premier League games with many now finally believing that Arsenal can topple the Cityzens and finish top come May.

However, Talk TV host and Gooner Piers Morgan says two areas of the team needs to change in order to win their first title since 2004.

Aaron Ramsdale has been Arsenal’s No.1goalkeeper  for the past two seasons but he has lost his spot to on-loan David Raya over recent weeks.

And that would be the first thing that Morgan would sort, as he told TalkSPORT: “I think we’ve still got issues.

“I’m not convinced by [David] Raya in goal, I think he was very jittery for much of the game.

“I don’t think he’s an upgrade on what I’ve seen so far of [Aaron] Ramsdale who must be feeling sick as a pig sitting on the bench every day watching this stuff.”

Meanwhile, the other area that he says needs to improve is further up the field in attack.

Strikers Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus only have five goals between them this term.

And Morgan believes Arteta needs a new No.9 would fire them to glory – especially if they go for Brentford’s Ivan Toney.

He added: “I think we still need a top striker. I hope that we do something about the in January.

“If we get in the market in January and we sign a top striker, then I think we are going to win the league.

“The thing about Jesus, I’ve been saying this since he joined us, is he has a fantastic work ethic. As has Nketiah, they both run around and are fantastically hard working.

“I’ve got nothing against either of them personally. I just don’t think either of them are the lethal, predatory striker that we need if we want to win the league.

“I think we’ve got to get in that market in January and buy somebody. Whether it’s Ivan Toney, or whether we go really big and try and get someone like Victor Osimhen, he’s obviously unhappy at Napoli. I just think that’s the missing cog and wheel.”
