And as she was preparing to cover another Euro tour, the journalist received a the happiest of surprises.
The TV star’s partner proposed and she said yes while seemingly enjoyed a cold pint.
And she quipped that she initially thought the ring was for darts star Steve Beaton.
Davies tweeted: “I think he bought this ring to propose to Steve Beaton but I’ll take it…
“Of course it happened at a Euro Tour.”
Davies has won a raft of fans across social media with almost 40,000 followers on Twitter alone.
Her career has also inspired a number of people around the world, especially when she bravely lifted the lid on her health troubles after working at the World Darts Championship.
Davies said: “Went to The Priory the day before the World Championship started.
“Final question before I left: ‘Can you promise you’ll keep yourself alive over Christmas?’
“So yeah, proud for doing what I needed to, to deal with anorexia/suicidal thoughts.
