Rayma, who bought Winnie at age seven months, used a stud dad and had been expecting around six pups, the average litter size.
She plans to sell them and could get up to £2,500 for each.
Rayma, who lives near Leicester, added: “I can’t live with 11 puppies or I’ll become a crazy dog lady!”
It’s understood Guinness World Records does not keep records for individual dog breeds.
The biggest previous Dachshund litter, it is thought, is the ten born to Cheesecake in Lincoln in 2021.
The largest dog litter on record is Neapolitan mastiff Tia’s 24 born in Manea, Cambs, in 2004.
