ALL flights from Luton Airport have been cancelled until at least 3pm today after a blaze ripped through one of its multi-storey car parks last night.
Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue service confirmed a major incident had occurred at 9:38pm last night, with at least 15 fire engines and 100 firefighters attending the scene.
Up to 1,200 vehicles have been damaged in the blaze, with emergency services still on the scene.
Now, Luton Airport has confirmed that all flights set to leave before 3pm today have been cancelled, plunging travel plans into chaos.
Writing on X, Luton Airport said: “Passengers are advised not to travel to the airport at this time, as access remains severely restricted.”
