They then run away while shouting
The shocking video was uploaded by a user on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Footage shows a crowd of men throwing punches at another “footie” fan laying on the street.
The violent thugs kicked the man in his head several times while he covered his face with his hands.
The defenseless man is knocked out cold, with his head bouncing off the tarmac as people pass near him.
The crowd of vicious men appear to cover their faces with black hoodies while they shout angrily at the victim.
The horrible fight happened after yesterday’s match between Reading FC and Swindon FC.
People gathered outside the Madejski Stadium, also known as Select Car Leasing Stadium, and caused havoc.
According to the footage, the fight happened near the Reading Green Park station.
Thames Valley Police said two men were arrested after the incident and an investigation is underway.
A spokesperson said: “We are investigating a number of incidents that relate to last night’s (10/10) match between Reading and Swindon Town at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
“A 23-year-old man, from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and has been released on bail.
“Another man was arrested on suspicion of a Section 5 public order offence, they have since been de-arrested.”
They added: “There is an ongoing investigation and as part of our enquiries into the incidents we will be working alongside Reading FC and we are also appealing for witnesses who may have seen something last night to get in touch.
“If anyone saw anything or has mobile phone or dash-cam footage of the incidents please call 101 or make a report online quoting reference 43230456491.”
The game ended in a crashing win for Swindon with a result of 5-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Harvey Knibbs and further strikes from Paul Mukairu and Harlee Dean.
The violent crash comes after a Swindon Town fan bursted onto the pitch to wind-up rival supporters – before he was pelted with tennis balls.
The incident occurred on Wednesday as Reading hosted the Robins at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
The Royals suffered relegation from the Championship last term and their opening to this campaign in League One has been marred by administration fears and a four-point deduction.
Fed-up fans have been venting their fury at the ownership of the club as they sit 22nd in the third tier.
A number of protests have been staged against owner Dai Yongge over recent weeks, which include supporters throwing tennis balls on the pitch.
