He has scored two goals and provided five assists in eight Premier League games for Spurs.
The ex-Leicester man was also named the Premier League Player of the Month for August.
And his superb performances have seen him earn call-ups to Gareth Southgate‘s most recent England squads.
Yet despite his impressive displays, Maddison still finds time to gorge on an unhealthy meal when winding down.
Speaking to team-mate Eric Dier in a Cinch video, he was asked how he recharges after a game.
To which Maddison replied: “I’ll have a big chippy. That’s my recharge meal.
“I love a big chippy. Fish, chips, sausage, curry sauce. Covered in salt and vinegar.
“Mouth watering a little bit at the thought of it.”

He then hilariously added: “Sorry to the Spurs nutritionists if they’re watching.”
Maddison set up Micky van de Ven’s winner against Luton on Saturday as Ange Postecoglou‘s men head into the second international break top of the Premier League table.
The playmaker has now linked up with England for the Three Lions’ upcoming games against Australia and Italy.
Maddison has only earned four caps to date, three of which have come since March.
