ISRAEL has left two vital airports in Syria unusable after crippling strikes, as American reinforcements arrived in the Mediterranean Sea today.
The airports in both Aleppo and Damascus are “out of service” after the debilitating strikes from Israel, amid fears Syria and Iran could become involved in the violence.

Fears of war in the whole of the Middle East have been raised as fresh exchanges of fire over Israel’s northern borders with militants in Lebanon and Syria continue to erupt.
Video showed the airport in Aleppo burning after the strike earlier today, and the airport in Damascus has also been seriously hit.
Fears of a wider conflict spiralling into a global escalation and possible third World War have grown after the unprecedented international reaction to the slaughter throughout Israel.
Israeli troops discovered the unimaginable horrors of dead babies and 20 children tied up and burned in Be’eri Kibbutz after the Palestinian militants unleashed hell on Saturday.
The breakneck speed with which US and Western allies have unashamedly backed Israel’s right to pulverise the Hamas killers – and provide direct military support – is without parallel.
Meanwhile, Hamas’s open parading of its support from Russia, and Putin-backed Syria and terror hot spot Lebanon has led to open battle lines being drawn far beyond the conflict-ridden corner of the Middle East.
Worries have increased of other countries, including Iran, Lebanon, Syria and more being pulled into the war.
Yesterday, worries that Hezbollah had sent “hostile” aircraft into Israel were debunked by Israeli Defence Forces.
But Mark Regev, a senior adviser to Netanyahu, told Sky News Israel has been “concerned for some time” that Hezbollah could “escalate the situation”.
“We don’t want to see an escalation in the north, but if a two front war is forced upon us, we won’t be caught be surprise. We are prepared, we are ready and we will prevail,” he said.
“It is not easy, but no war is ever easy. We have been planning for the possibility… and we can fight, if need be, a two-front war.”

Special operations forces are also assisting Israel’s military in planning and intelligence as they look to bring an end to Hamas’ terror in the country.
Ships and warplanes being deployed will establish a force presence that deters Hezbollah, Iran or others from taking advantage of the situation amid fears the region could be on the brink of an all-out war.
The US is also expediting the shipment of munitions and interceptors for Israel’s fight against Hamas.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to crush the Hamas group just like ISIS, and blasted them as “enemies of civilisation”.
