Should HQ somehow dodge the deluge, Inquisitively was impressive when winning a York Listed contest on fast ground.
She has more to offer but conditions are a concern.
Alabama has been busy and ran well at Dundalk last time. She has place claims along with Asean who was half a length ahead of her when they met at The Curragh.
Zoulu Chief went off too quickly here last week and this shorter trip along with James Doyle on board will help.

Skellet got the job done nicely in a Salisbury maiden. Connections wrote a large cheque to get her after that and there’s more to come.
Dance Sequence won a maiden on the July course nicely and can progress provided she’s ready to go after 104 days off.
Gushing Gold landed a big York handicap over this trip before a fair effort at Donny. She needs more but could make the frame for Andrew Balding.

CHINDIT seems to have had another lease of life and ran a cracker when a close third in the Joel Stakes here last time.
He won in the mud at Sandown before that so should be fine whatever the weather does.
Audience went down fighting at Doncaster and kicked off the season with a good course and distance win.
He looks a threat, while Shouldvebeenaring has gone close in Group 1s on his past two runs. Fast ground brings out the best in him.
Matilda Picotte ran away with a Donny Group 3 latest and isn’t ignored but this looks tougher.
Last year’s winner Pogo came back to form in France but needs his very best to strike again.

Westerton was pipped at Doncaster and is proven with some cut in the ground which he’s likely to get here. He’s up the weights too but can’t be dismissed.
Denmark drops in trip after making the pace in the Leger but has lots of weight.
Lucky Fifteen was in top form before getting stuck in the Goodwood mud.

SHUWARI tried to come from too far back when a solid second in the Rockfel here last time.
That was over 7f and she finished like a train, suggesting this mile will be ideal.
She liked soft ground when winning at Sandown earlier this season and has more to offer.
Caught U Looking clocked a good time when winning a Curragh Group 3 19 days ago. Conditions were testing and she is another who shapes as though a mile will be ideal.
Ylang Ylang definitely found 7f too short when two lengths behind the tip here last time.
She seems to handle any conditions and is likely to close the gap here.
See The Fire was a solid second in the Group 2 May Hill at Doncaster latest.
This is just her third run so there should be more to come.
Ambiente Amigo didn’t beat much at Lingfield but did it easily. This is tougher.
YORK

RATHGAR stayed on well over 1m4f here three weeks ago and this longer trip can help.
He handles cut in the ground and trainer Jack Channon is in good form.
Kingfisher King found 1m2f too sharp when third at Donny and is built for this sort of test. He’s had a little help from the handicapper too.
Urban Outlook won well at Haydock and Chester over staying trips and has more to come. A 6lb rise in the weights looks fair.
Kardia makes her handicap debut and should improve for this stamina test.

GREY CUBAN was unlucky at Donny latest, coming home full of running after not getting the breaks. This trip will suit and he can figure.
The Coffee Pod won well here latest and should be suited by this extra furlong.
Nellie Laylax ran well from a bad draw latest and is already proven at this distance. She has solid place claims.
African Spirit scored nicely on debut at Newcastle and will be a factor if matching that form on turf.
Candonomore showed good signs when third at Thirsk and can’t be discounted.

HAFEET ALAIN was just denied at Goodwood last time and has a good draw for in-form trainer Ed Walker.
He goes on any ground and gets on well with his claiming rider.
Star Of Orion has been consistent over 7f, including in good company at Newmarket latest, and is interesting upped in trip.
La Trinidad ran well in a big field at Redcar last weekend and a repeat of that would give him a chance.
Lots of rain would help Millebosc who ran a cracker in the mud at Haydock last time and likes this distance.
CHEPSTOW

AYE RIGHT should find this a lot easier than the Grade 1 Ascot Chase he tackled last time out in February.
He has plenty of stamina and can score on his veteran chase debut.
Good Boy Bobby has won here before and is down the weights from the in-form Twiston-Davies stable. He can go close.
This should be ideal for Cyclop who has won here a couple of times and stays strongly. He could be a big price to make the frame.
Danny Kirwan has had a wind op and ran well in some decent handicaps last season.
Landofsmiles is in good form and likes the track.

RESPLENDENT GREY was given a couple of spins over hurdles in the spring and won nicely each time.
This longer trip will be ideal and there’s a lot more to come.
Captain Teague was third in the Champion Bumper and should make a good hurdler. Paul Nicholls will have him ready for this debut.
Everyonesgame can be forgiven one poor run in the red-hot Summer Hurdle last time as he was in excellent form before that and can go close.
Mullinaree just keeps winning and deserves this crack at stronger opposition.
