THIERRY HENRY has admitted “it’s very difficult to say” whether he wants to manage Arsenal one day.
The Frenchman enjoyed a glittering eight-year spell with the Gunners during his playing days.

He also began his management career as a coach in the Arsenal academy.
However, he has refused to be drawn on the possibility of returning to the Emirates Stadium as the club’s manager in the future.
Appearing on The Rest is Football podcast, Henry was asked if he could ever see himself becoming Arsenal manager one day.
“It will make headlines!” he replied. “One time, I was stupid enough to say it’s the dream of any fan.
“They said Thierry Henry wants to be manager of Arsenal.”
Henry then went on to add: “It’s very difficult for me to say that because when I say something about Arsenal, it goes places.
“I have mad respect for Mikel. He’s done extremely well in the last two years.
“I have realised when it comes to talking about coaching, talking about Arsenal… I have too much respect for the overall situation.

“Otherwise, Mikel will be asked, ‘Thierry Henry said…’ – you don’t need this type of question in a press conference. We don’t need to do that!”
Henry spent eight years with the Gunners as a player, before later returning for a short-term loan spell.
Overall, he scored 228 goals across 377 appearances for the club as well as winning seven trophies, including two league titles and three FA Cups.
Since leaving his role as an academy coach in North London, he has spent time in charge at both Monaco and Montreal.
Henry also worked as an assistant manager to Roberto Martinez with the Belgian national team across two spells between 2016 and 2022.
He returned to the dugout back in August after being appointed France under-21s boss on a two-year deal.
Having won his first two matches in charge last month, Henry’s side face Euro U21 qualifiers against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Cyprus during the current international break.
