In the video, a man is seen being knocked to the ground after a brief confrontation, triggering a violent clash between the two sets of players and staff.

The shocking footage appears to show players and staff kicking the man on the ground repeatedly while also throwing punches and kicks at their opponents.

The fight, which is believed to have occurred during the second half of the game, is now under investigation by the WRU.

A spokesperson said: “The WRU are currently investigating an allegation of misconduct as a result of an incident in a game between Penlan and Morriston Youth on Friday evening.”

South Wales Police have confirmed they are aware of the footage and are investigating the brawl, but no arrests have been made yet.

A spokesperson said: “Officers attended Morriston Rugby Club, Cwmrhydyceirw, Swansea shortly after 8pm on Friday, November 1 following reports of disorder during a match against Penlan Rugby Club.

“Officers are reviewing footage of the incident. This investigation is ongoing.”

It comes after two drivers were filmed getting into a fight in the middle of the road before one is nearly run over.

The bizarre road rage incident reportedly happened on the A6 in Buxton town centre, Derbyshire, on Tuesday.

It was captured by a bystander before being shared with The Sun.

A silver BMW is seen parked over a mini roundabout while the pair scrap it out and an elderly woman tries to intervene.

A silver Ford car sits on the inside lane with the driver door open and indicator flashing.

Other motorists can be heard sounding their horns as they manoeuvre the hold up, while a queue slowly forms.

The Ford driver begins wildly throwing punches at the BMW owner while he’s in a headlock as the woman tries to drag him off.

The BMW driver, having lost his sunglasses but seemingly finding a second wind, then ploughs forward towards the other man as he backs off before several people step in to stop the fight.

It’s unclear what the argument is about, but the Ford driver begins shouting and gesturing with his hands, before getting into his car.

The other man then leans through the BMW window and appears to take out a phone before stepping in front of the Ford.

He appears to prepare to film on his phone but jumps as the car jerks forward and puts his hand on the bonnet.

The Ford driver sounds his horn and a woman, who was in the passenger seat then gets out to confront the man obstructing the way.

The car continues to jump forward and the BMW driver ends up half sprawled over the bonnet.

The driver gets out and says: “You move out of the way, right now. Move now.”

Turning to the woman, he says: “Get in the car.”

He drives away, causing the BMW driver to almost fall over as he stands looking at his phone.

He then appears to film the Ford as it drives off out of view.
