MIKE Amesbury has been charged with assault after allegedly punching a constituent.
The Labour MP, 55, will appear in court charged with section 39 assault, it was confirmed today.
The charge is said to relate to reports of an assault on a 45-year-old man in Frodsham, Cheshire, reported to police at 2.48am on October 26.
