CRYSTAL PALACE find themselves just one point above the drop zone after a sixth defeat of the season.

The Eagles were grounded by Fulham as Emile Smith Rowe and Harry Wilson provided the difference-making goals in the London derby.

Smith Rowe opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time with a driven effort into the bottom right corner.

It was a moment to forget for Palace shot-stopper Dean Henderson who looked like he could have done more to keep it out.

Smith Rowe thought he had doubled his tally and the lead when he found the back of the net again in the 53rd minute.

But a marginal offside call from VAR denied what was a wonderfully worked goal and a terrific ball from fellow Arsenal academy graduate Alex Iwobi.

Things got worse for Palace later in the half when Daichi Kamada was sent off for a dangerous tackle on Kenny Tete.

And the one-man advantage for Fulham soon paid off.

Hot off his super-sub cameo against Brentford, Harry Wilson scored just seconds after coming on at Selhurst Park to make the score 2-0.

Wilson could have had a second double in as many games too, but his injury time brace was ruled out for a handball in the buildup.
