JULEN Lopetegui’s future hangs in the balance as a board meeting has been called in the coming days, according to reports.
The West Ham boss has seen his side get off to a poor start in the Premier League this term.

Although the club are not in the relegation zone, their dismal form has led to Hammers fans feeling disgruntled.
They were once again poor on Saturday, drawing 0-0 at the London Stadium against fellow strugglers Everton.
West Ham have won just three times in the Premier League in 11 outings, and were dumped out of the Carabao Cup.
And according to The Sunday Times, West Ham United majority shareholder David Sullivan and the technical director Tim Steidten will meet next week to discuss their head coach’s future.
The report claims there are concerns about the lack of improvement in performances, after the Spaniard took over the reins from David Moyes in the summer, including the integration of new signings.
Worse still, West Ham’s bosses are also aware of the fans’ discontent – with the home faithful booing their side off at the final whistle this weekend.
Lopetegui was backed in the summer with a £100million war chest.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jean-Clair Todibo, Guido Rodríguez, Niclas Füllkrug, Crysencio Summerville, Carlos Soler, Max Kilman and Luis Guilherme all arrived for substantial fees.
However, something hasn’t clicked yet – with the Hammers languishing in 14th spot in the league.
Last week, Frank Lampard was tipped to take over from the former Wolves boss.
Speaking on talkSPORT breakfast, host Jeff Stelling said: “I’m going to mention someone who might divide opinions.

“Is it time, if Lopetegui goes, for West Ham to bring Frank Lampard home? Just a thought.
“He is available. He’s been mentioned in connection with the Roma job, but West Ham would be ideal for him.
“I know there’s a man in situ at the moment, but it is just a speculative suggestion at the moment.”
