SHEFFIELD UNITED have been handed a double injury blow with two major stars facing extended stays in the treatment room.

Davies was practising shooting when he tore a thigh muscle.
He will now be missing for four months.
The 25-year-old suffered a knee issue when with boyhood club Everton last season.
He moved to Bramall Lane on a free transfer in the summer.
Meanwhile, Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom is also on the lookout for a new centre-half in the January transfer window with defender John Egan set to be out for most of the season.
The team captain and Republic of Ireland star is sidelined with a severe Achilles tendon injury.
Fellow defender Chris Basham is also set to be sidelined for some time after his horror ankle injury during their defeat to Fulham.
United are one of two sides in the Premier League yet to collect a win, the other being Bournemouth.

The only point Heckingbottom’s side have picked up so far this season was in a 2-2 draw with Everton.
They also suffered an early exit in the League Cup after getting knocked out by League One side Lincoln in the second round.
The Blades host Manchester United in their next fixture before making a trip to Arsenal.
