She’s been much improved this month with two excellent efforts at Sedgefield. After a close second, Sam England’s five-year-old returned to score last week. Decent ground suits and she gets on well with today’s rider who can claim his full 7lb allowance.
SAXON RAIDER (4.15 Southwell, nb)
He was much improved for Charlie Johnston when winning on handicap debut at Wolver 14 days ago. He saw out this 7f trip well and quickened up nicely. There’s more to come.
WOODLAND PARK (1.40 Leicester, treble)
Won his bumper nicely and shaped well when a close second at Carlisle on hurdles debut. There was a long way back to the third so the form looks solid.
