James, 38, donned a tight brown t-shirt as he and another pal threw their arms around podcaster Payne in Marseille after the final whistle.

Zara, wife of ex-England centre Mike Tindall, also joined in on the ruckus as she bounced up and down at the Stade Velodrome.

James, who won 77 caps for England between 2007 and 2019, had earlier donned a maids outfit before ripping off his shirt at full-time.

It came just a day after The Sun revealed his wife Chloe Madeley ditched her wedding ring on Friday night.

Sources say she was “upset” after her hubby was seen cosying up to a blonde woman the night before as he left Chiltern Firehouse in West London.

Another source said of Chloe, daughter of TV duo Richard and Judy: “Chloe wanted a night out to let her hair down with her mates.

“She really showed James what he was missing in her revealing outfit.”

The couple, who wed in 2018, have a one year-old daughter called Bodhi.

England stormed into the semi-finals following a nailbiting 30-24 win over the South Sea Islanders.

Manu Tuilagi and Joe Marchant scored tries ahead of halftime, before skipper Owen Farrell converted five penalties and a vital drop goal to send Fiji packing.

But Sunday’s victory was mired when a pack of England fans brawled in the stands.

England face South Africa in the second semi-final on Saturday after the Springboks beat hosts France 29-28 last night.

Argentina play three-time champions New Zealand in the first semi final on Friday.
