VENTARA (3.10 Taunton, nb) looks hard to beat on this chase debut.
He was beaten a head over hurdles at Chepstow last time and looks bred for the bigger obstacles. Moving up in distance looks a wise move and he runs off a fair handicap mark.
PRAIRIE DIAMOND can sparkle (2.35 Taunton, treble).
He had plenty in hand when winning at Wincanton last week. That was a conditional riders’ race so there’s no more weight on his back today. This trip and ground suit so he’ll be hard to beat.
RAVENSCRAIG CASTLE (2.10 Musselburgh) keeps hitting the frame and this looks an obvious chance to get off the mark. He was just a length away at Perth last time and the winner and third have scored since.
