A MONSTER who murdered his wife then claimed his son was to blame for re-creating a scene from show You has been jailed.
Amidu Koroma, 48, stabbed Mariam Kamara, 46, four times in the face, neck and chest as she slept then torched her body in a grim bid to cover up his crimes.

He fled the burning home in Brixton, South West London, with his teen son, who called the fire brigade.
When firefighters arrived, Koroma – who smelt of petrol – calmly told them his wife was still inside.
They later discovered community nurse Mariam had been stabbed to death before her body was set alight.
Evil Koroma tried to pin the killing on his son, claiming he was inspired by the plot of Netflix thriller You.
In the show, the protagonist murders his wife then burns their home down to cover his crimes and fake his own death.
But his lies unravelled and he has now been jailed for life with a minimum of 29 years after being convicted of murder.
The Old Bailey heard Koroma and Mariam had a “toxic” relationship, with the mum terrified her husband was going to kill her.
The killer, who had a child with another woman, regularly cheated on Mariam and rowed with her over money and his refusal to leave the house.
On January 24, 2022, the couple’s 19-year-old son raised the alarm as the inferno took hold of their house.
Mariam was found dead on her bed surrounded by the distinctive smell of accelerant with an empty jerry can and funnel on the floor.
Her blood was also splattered on the banister near the bottom of the stairs.
A post mortem later revealed Mariam died from stab wounds to the neck and chest.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Wood, who led the investigation, said: “This was a brutal murder and an appalling act of violence against a woman.
“After murdering his wife, Koroma then started a fire to cover up his actions. This was a further selfish act which put other members of the public at risk.
“My officers conducted an in-depth investigation into this murder and worked hard to gather a range of evidence which pointed to Koroma as the killer.
“Our thoughts are with Ms Kamara’s family and friends and in particular with her son who we continue to support through this trauma.”
