A TEENAGE boy has been arrested after a woman in her 40s was stabbed in a leafy London street.
The woman was knifed at around 8pm last night in the Muswell Hill neighbourhood of north London.
Cops and paramedics scrambled to the quiet residential street and found her with stab injuries, which are not life-threatening.
A teen male was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
The teenager was taken into custody where he remains while detectives probe the stabbing.
Muswell Hill is home to the Alexandra Palace darts venue and was named one of the most desirable places to live in London in 2020.
Scotland Yard said: “Police were called at 8.04pm on Wednesday to reports of an assault on St James Lane, Muswell Hill.
“Officers attended and found a woman, aged in her 40s, with stab injuries. Her injuries are not life threatening.
“A male in his teens was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He was taken into custody where he remains.”
