Local man Jazz Reid, 32, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Reid will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court today, Scotland Yard said.
Horrified witnesses said shots were fired directly into the family’s car during the alleged drive-by shooting.
Local Sharon said: “It was at close range, as if you’re standing next to open a door – they were shooting directly into it.
“I was completely in shock and I just ran back up the stairs because I was really scared.
“Then I looked and I heard screaming afterwards, and then people coming out to call the police.”

“We must work together to better prevent these horrific crimes from happening, and hold those responsible to account.”
