ROYAL INFANTRY (2.15 Haydock, nb)
He looked a hot prospect for the Skeltons when winning on hurdles debut at Chepstow four weeks ago. That built on his good bumper form and he’s gone well in testing ground.
CLOUDY GLEN (2.45 Haydock, treble)
Can pick up another nice prize for in-form Venetia Williams. He may not have won since the 2021 Hennessy but has gone close in hotter races than this since then. Soft ground suits and he has plenty of staying power.
DREAMING BLUE (2.35 Ludlow, Lucky 15)
He ended last season with a pair of bloodless wins at Fontwell and wasn’t far away on comeback at Wincanton. He is still on a fair mark.
