NIGEL Farage is the favourite to replace Sir Keir Starmer as Prime Minister at the next election – as he declared the Tories in “much deeper trouble” than they realise.

The Reform UK leader finds himself leading the pack to enter Downing Street, according to the latest odds.

He has edged ahead of Tory leader Kemi Badenoch and Labour number two Angela Rayner as the firm favourite, Ladbrokes say.

The odds have also dropped on Reform UK winning the most amount of seats to 9/4 having started on 16/1.

The Tories are currently in front when it comes to having the most seats at the next election with odds of 6/4 ahead of Labour on 7/4.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes: “For the first time, Nigel Farage now leads the way in the Next Prime Minister market, with a continuing flurry of bets being struck on Reform UK winning the most seats at the next General Election.”

It comes after a report revealed that this year’s general election was the most disproportionate in election history in the UK.

Labour managed to double its number of seats from 202 to 411 but only received one third of the vote. In contrast, Reform bagged only five seats but attained some four million votes.

But Reform came second in 98 seats of which 89 were won by Sir Keir Starmer’s party.

Reform leader Nigel Farage launched a scathing attack on the Tories following Prime Minister’s Questions.

Tory leader Kemi Badenoch pushed the PM on his immigration record – despite net migration hitting 900,000 under the previous government.

Mr Farage said: “I am watching the Tory backbenchers as Kemi Badenoch gives another average performance at #PMQs.

“There is almost no enthusiasm for her at all. They are in much deeper trouble than they know.”

He has also brought in property tycoon Nick Candy to be treasurer for the party.
