A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been stabbed in a fight at McDonald’s before being found with a serious back injury at a snooker hall.

Cops surrounded the fast food chain’s branch on Parsons Hill, Birmingham as the horror incident unfolded.

The teenager was found a short distance away after he fled to the games hall having sustained a knife wound.

He was taken to hospital with a “serious back injury” where he remains today.

Cops described his condition as not life threatening or life changing.

The restaurant was evacuated and no-one else was injured, said West Midlands Police.

Officers are studying CCTV and speaking to witnesses to establish who was involved and what happened.

Cops have urged anyone with any information or eyewitnesses to come forward.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for anyone who saw the disorder or has any information, and hasn’t spoken to an officer, to contact us via Live Chat on our website or call 101 quoting crime reference 20/90458/23.

“Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
