“If they are murdered in the course of their duties then life should mean life for the perpetrators.
“The three officers from Foxtrot One One never got the chance to grow old and the life sentence for their loved ones still continues.”
Former Flying Squad commander John O’ Connor said: “Nobody in the Met Police at the time will ever forget what happened.”
