TYSON FURY hinted he could cross over to WWE again by confirming there is “still a lot of opportunity there”.

Fury stunned the fighting world in 2019 when he swapped his boxing gloves for a pair of wrestling boots as he linked up with Vince McMahon’s promotion.

Tyson Fury hinted at another WWE return after facing Francis Ngannou

The Gypsy King faced Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia where he picked up an impressive win.

The 35-year-old returned to WWE for a shock appearance at Clash at the Castle in Wales last year when he saved fellow Brit Drew McIntyre from Austin Theory cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase.

The incident took place in the main event at the Principality Stadium where McIntyre ultimately lost to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

After the match, Fury stepped inside the ring and sang the Scotsman’s praises with a rendition of American Pie.

The undefeated heavyweight would love to work with WWE again if the opportunity arose but is currently fully focused on boxing.

Fury said: “I’ve been doing this for 15 years, which is a long time.

“I know it won’t last forever. And it’s true, I’ve had a few good stints in WWE. There is still a lot of opportunity there.

“It’s an amazing experience there. At the moment, I’m very busy with boxing.

“I’m still active and on top of my chosen profession, so this is where my focus will be. After that, we’ll see.”

Fury is now set for another cross-over fight in Saudi Arabia on October 28 that will see him facing off against UFC legend Francis Ngannou.

Ngannou is set to try out his luck in his first ever boxing match against the WBC Champion.

Fury could then become the first undisputed world heavyweight champion since 1999 as he is expected to lock horns with IBF, WBA and WBO Champion Oleksandr Usyk in December or January.

But the Mancunian’s clash with Ngannou has drawn criticism with fans not convinced the MMA star can pose much of a challenge for the undefeated boxer.

However, the British star slammed all the “sheep” claiming they are simply jealous of the “king of the jungle”.

Fury added: “They’re just jealous that I’m getting a bag and they’re not. It’s a large bag. I can barely carry it.

“No matter who you are or the profession, haters are going to hate. Go back in history and name the critics.

“Is it good or bad for boxing? Those are opinions of sheep, and that means nothing to the king of the jungle.”
