Child ‘grabbed by throat’ on way home from school as cops launch urgent probe with parents urged to fetch kids

A CHILD was “grabbed by the throat” on their way home from school, as cops launch an urgent probe into the horrific incident.

Parents from Moorlands Junior School in Sale, Manchester were informed the pupil had been targeted in an “unprovoked” incident on Thursday, January 16.

The school’s note to parents said: “Urgent message-apologies as this is quite shocking.

“We have just been informed of a very nasty incident where a stranger has grabbed hold of one of our children by the throat, on Broad Road, as they were walking home. This was unprovoked.”

Manchester Evening News reported a suspect has been identified

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have since launched an investigation into the incident.
