AS the Trump ladies took to the floor at the inauguration ball, onlookers were stunned but one woman came out on top.
While the President and First Lady hit three inaugural balls on Monday night, it was the Liberty Ball where the whole Trump family were on display in their finery.

With all men wearing black tie for the occasion, it was the women’s glamorous ball gowns that stole the show.
After changing out of the navy blue ensemble she wore for the Inauguration Ceremony, which was paired with a matching white trim, Melania Trump left fans speechless with her ballgown.
She yet again sent another “bold message” with her outfit choice, opting for an eye-catching black and white number.
The First Lady wore a striking strapless black and white dress paired with a black choker with a 1955 broach borrowed from Harry Winston.
Her silk crepe dress was made by Hervé Pierre, who has been the former model’s personal stylist for eight years.
After creating her dresses for the 2017 inaugural balls, this year he went for a white gown with a black ribbon falling around her body from the top of the dress to the bottom.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, the ribbon is meant to depict a ribbon around a bouquet of flowers.
Pierre said: “It is a great honour to have collaborated with the First Lady on the design for her inaugural dress.
“It was clear that Mrs. Trump was gravitating towards a combination of black and white – true to her own style and vision.”
“It is understood that Mr. Winston’s wish was that First Ladies would be able to borrow his pieces for special occasions,” the press release added.
Meanwhile, Ivanka channeled old Hollywood with her outfit choice.
She wore a custom recreation of Hubert de Givenchy’s 1954 couture gown previously worn by fashion icon Audrey Hepburn in the movie Sabrina.
The white strapless ball gown had an elegant black trim at the bottom with black floral embroidery on the skirt and corset.
The mother-of-three glowed as she paired the look with black elbow-length gloves, in true Hepburn fashion, and matching heels.

Her blonde hair was elegantly styled in an up-do displaying her large diamond stud earrings and matching necklace.
The 43-year-old First Daughter took to the floor with her husband, Jared Kushner, 44, where they shared an intimate dance.
According to a White House representative, Ivanka was “honoured” to wear the gown for the historic event.
She is “incredibly grateful for Arnault family and the Givenchy atelier for creating this masterpiece, capturing the original artistry and elegance with remarkable precision and craftsmanship.”
The spokesperson added that Hepburn “has long been a personal inspiration to Ivanka.”
“She views it as a great privilege to honor her legacy in this way, and is incredibly grateful to the team at Givenchy for bringing this moment to life.”

Also on the dance floor were the new President and First Lady, Vice-President JD Vance and his wife Usha Vance as well as Ivanka’s siblings and their spouses.
Tiffany Trump showcased her growing baby bump in a dove-grey, off-the-shoulder dress with an embellished bodice, long sleeves, and a flowing chiffon skirt.
The glowing mother to be left her blonde locks down and had a scarf matching her dress draped elegantly around her neck which hung down her back as she danced with her husband Michael Boulos.
Who stole the Inauguration Ball fashion crown?
Fabulous’ Deputy Fashion Editor, Abby McHale, gives her take on the political dance floor.
Old school 1950’s Hollywood glamour seemed to be the theme for the ladies of the Trump family at the Liberty Ball last night.
Melania, sticking to her monochrome colour palette seen throughout the day, wore a Hervé Pierre strapless dress, complete with a black choker and broach dating back to 1955, borrowed from Harry Winston.
And she wasn’t the only member of the family wearing something with sentiment to the past, with Ivanka Trump donning a recreation of a Givenchy dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in 1954.
Melania knows how to look classy, subtly stealing the crown of best dressed with sharp silhouettes that still hug her figure and a clean colour palette.
She also knows what style suits her, having worn another Hervé Pierre dress to Trump’s first inauguration ball back in 2017.
The only member of the family who didn’t echo the muted hues of the rest was Lara Trump, opting for a fiery Republican red number instead.
Tiffany and Kai Trump on the other hand went for glitzier options with the latter’s dress giving prom vibes that you would naturally expect of a 17-year-old.
All in all, out in full force they have brought back the fashion of the Gilded Age, opulent and luxurious.
Meanwhile, her sister-in-law Lara Trump went for a very different look opting for a fiery floor length red strapless dress.
The satin dress accentuated her slim frame with a much more body-forming fit than those of her relatives.
At the back was a short ruffled train that was attached at the elegant waistband of the dress.
She too wore her wavy hair down and paired the look with a statement necklace and sparkling heels as she danced with her husband Eric Trump.

The bold red dress came after cruel trolls slammed her inauguration look, blaming a “Mar-a-Lago makeover.”
Also making a bold statement and coming into her own on Inauguration night was Kai Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr.
The 17-year-old golfer who is often pictured in her sportswear stepped out onto the stage at the Liberty Ball with her proud father at her side.
She opted for a Sherri Hill number from the new Spring 2025 collection.
The brand became hugely popular after Hill’s designs were worn by winners of Miss USA, Miss Universe, and Miss America.
Kai walked onto the stage arm-in-arm with her father wearing a silver sequinned gown with cut out detailing and a thigh-high slit.
She wore her hair straight and paired the look with simple accessories including a silver necklace with a heart-shaped pendant.
But it was the First Lady who came out on top with fans adoring her “classy and beautiful” look.
On X, one said: “Simple and classy. Melania wears the dress it doesn’t wear her. Beautiful.”
“Exquisite elegance with an edge that befits her stylish confidence,” another added.
“She looks exquisite in her gown! It’s wonderful to see a First Lady who exemplifies such grace and class again!,” a third wrote.
Now as the President prepares for his first full day back in office, see what is in store.
