TRIBUTES have been paid to a grandmother killed while allegedly trying to stop her daughter from being knifed.
Diane Cleary, 46, died in hospital from multiple wounds after she was caught in the rampage.

Her daughter Caitlin, in her 20s, suffered serious injuries shortly after midday on Monday.
In a note Caitlin left at the scene with flowers she wrote: “Mum, I love you so much. I miss you.
“What can I say but you gave your life for me, I’m so sorry. My world.”
A family member claimed: “He tried to go for Caitlin and Diane was in the way.
“We are all devastated.
“Diane was a great mum and grandmother.”
A man, 25, was arrested yesterday by Bedfordshire Police on suspicion of the murder and attempted murder in Luton.
A Beds Police spokeswoman said: ‘’Officers arrested a 25-year-old man from Luton on suspicion of murder and attempted murder in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
‘’He is currently in police custody for questioning.”
