JESSE LINGARD could face another two months of unemployment before landing a new job.
The ex-Manchester United ace, 30, has been a free agent since being released by Nottingham Forest in the summer.

Lingard had been training with old club West Ham but decided to join up with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq – who are managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.
Lingard still has not penned a contract with the Middle East team as they have a limit on foreign players in the Saudi League.
Clubs are only allowed a maximum of eight in a match-day squad and Al-Ettifaq currently have 10 on their books.
Those stars from overseas include Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum, Demarai Gray and Moussa Dembele.
Gerrard is attempting to move some on to create room for Lingard – but he will not be able to do that until the transfer window re-opens in January.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has now provided an update on the situation – and he says the ball is in the 32-capped England international’s court regarding whether he wants to wait.
He wrote on social media: “Al Ettifaq set to offer Jesse Lingard a pre contract for 2024 as their squad is full until January.
“Gerrard wants to sign Lingard, he trained at top level in Saudi; Henderson and Wijnaldum also pushing for him to sign.
“Final decision will be up to Lingard soon.”
We revealed that Sweden international Robin Quaison and Brazilian winger Vitinho are two who could potentially make way.
Meanwhile, another possible destination for Lingard loanee is Osasuna in Spain.
