Rooney was a big hit when making his Amazon bow last week at the Etihad – helped by his relaxed joking.
Predicting a hostile reception at United’s neighbours City, his first words were: “Obviously a stadium I’ve scored a lot of goals in.”
He also trolled HIMSELF during a heavy downpour where he was the only Amazon pundit on the pitch without an umbrella.
Rooney, who has had two hair transplants, said: “I hope the rain doesn’t come down any more, my hair will be all over the place!”
