Hunt, from Bolton, has often joined the world darts champions on his streams to play EAFC 25.

Littler’s pal found his own fame on TikTok and his own streaming channels.

He has now been named the new chairman of Westhoughton’s tenth-tier North West Counties Football League club, Daisy Hill FC.

The club is currently one league below the reformed Bury.

Hunt was headhunted by the Cutters’ manager Lee Hill.

The boss is hoping that Hunt can help bring his virtual success into reality and help the club..

Hill said: “It’s a romantic story, he took Daisy Hill through the leagues on Football Manager.

“so hopefully he can do that for real.”

Hill revealed that he approached Hunt over the opportunity via a message on Instagram.

He wrote: “Alright Daisy Hill gaffer, this is the other Daisy Hill gaffer.”

Hunt released a statement after his appointment to the club in which he admitted he will be “learning on the job”.

He said: “I’m buzzing to take this project on and appreciate all the support given so far.

“It would be great to have as many of you as possible down for match days.

“I’ll be learning on the job every day, and it isn’t going to happen overnight, but I really think this football club has potential to go far.

“Lots of sponsorship opportunities will be available as well as help needed with certain aspects of the work.

“We will also be holding trial days if you think you could play for the club.

“I would love to give everyone the opportunity to get involved with this project in any way possible.

“This is not my club. This is OUR club. UP THE CUTTERS”.

Daisy Hill were founded back in 1894 but has come under financial pressure in recent times.

The club faces the threat of folding but is hopeful Hunt’s appointment can turn their fortunes around.
