Previous danger to life red warnings issued by the Met Office have now expired with lengthy clean-up operations set to start up and down the country.
Heavy flood alerts have since been put in place for England, Wales and Scotland.
The River Derwent, Derbyshire, has burst its bank causing chaos for those in the surrounding areas.
Three severe flood warnings have been issued – suggesting there could be a danger to life – around Chaddesden, Little Chester, Eastgate, Cattle Market and near Derby City Water Works.

National Rail is also urging people to only travel if they have to – as major disruptions are expected throughout the day and train routes across the entire country are said to be impacted.
