The British ace was just one of several huge names present at Sunday’s race spectacular.

The likes of Rory McIlroy and Prince Harry were also in attendance in Austin, Texas.

But it was Joshua who Sky Sports’ F1 grid general Brundle wanted to speak to the most.

The determined host made his way down the tarmac towards AJ, who was already deep in conversation with an ASTRONAUT.

Brundle talked into the microphone about grabbing Joshua for his own chat.

But the heavyweight star continued to hold his current conversation for well over 30 seconds.

And Brundle was made to wait awkwardly alongside the two men, who dwarfed over him in size.

Fans at home were left laughing at the whole situation, with one describing it as “painful”.

They said: “Martin Brundle waiting to interview Anthony Joshua is painful.”

Another declared: “The way Martin Brundle is looking at Anthony Joshua is killing me.”

One noted: “Martin Brundle waiting for Anthony Joshua has made my day.”

Another added: “Martin Brundle waiting for Anthony Joshua to finish his conversation is like me when I wait for my mum to stop talking to someone in the supermarket.”

Brundle did finally get his chat with Joshua, who was more than happy to talk on TV.

The former world champion discussed his recent invest in the Alpine F1 team alongside the likes of McIlroy, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ryan Reynolds.

And he admitted his interest in fighting Deontay Wilder next year too.

But Joshua saved his fiercest words for Tyson Fury after Brundle suggested an all-British battle.

AJ added: “I’ll be honest, for me personally, I’m here for the fans and I know what they want.

“My job is to deliver. I will 100 per cent do my end of the bargain, it’s up to the other team to play ball.

“But one step at a time. December I want to get out. April (against Wilder) I want to be victorious, and then we can talk about the big fight in the future.”
