AN URGENT hunt continues for a man who tried to abduct a 6-year-old girl from the pub.
The man was challenged by the girl’s father and fled the pub alone a short time later, CCTV shows.
On February 1, between 7pm and 8pm the man entered St Bernard’s Grange Pub in Birmingham.
The man then “persuaded the youngster to leave with him”, West Midland Police have stated.
He was challenged by the girl’s father and fled the pub alone a short time later.
The girl was not harmed.
Officers have described the man as being in his 30s, around 6ft2-3ins, and was wearing a black beanie and a black jacket.
The statement added: “We’ve been carrying out a number of enquiries since it happened, and are asking for anyone with information to get in touch via 101 quoting 20/132039/25.”
