The Brighton boy was anticipated to be in for a major domestic bout following his dust-up with British super lightweight Adam Azim last year.
However, a number of circumstances have prevented the fight from happening, and Eubank has made the decision to stay active.
He now takes on McKenna, a seasoned boxer who crafted a second round stoppage in his most recent bout in December.
