Urgent hunt for two women over mum punched on London tube – as three-year-old sent falling to platform floor

POLICE are searching for two women after a three-year-old was fell to the floor when their mum was punched at a London tube station.

The alleged assault took place on a Central Line train at Redbridge Underground Station at around 10pm on October 8.

The mum was intervening in an argument between two other women when she was punched.

Police say the assault caused her three-year-old child to fall onto the platform floor.

A British Transport Police spokesman said: “Do you recognise these women? Detectives investigating an assault at Redbridge Underground station are today releasing these images in connection.

“At around 10pm on October 8, 2023, the victim intervened in an argument between two other women and a man on a Central Line train.

“Following this, the one of the women punched the victim on the platform, causing her three-year-old child to fall to the floor on the platform.

“Officers believe the women in the image may have information which could help their investigation.”
