A clip shared on Twitter shows an abandoned red Ford car floating down a flooded street in Debenham, Suffolk – with a mum telling her kids to “move out of the way”.

The camera pans to show soaked children shuffling through the water.
But chaos unfolds when one man behind the children wades towards another, who tackles him into the brown floodwater.
The pair splash about and wrestle in the water, their wet t-shirts riding over their heads.
A woman can be heard shouting: “That is enough, for f***’s sake.
“Grow up. Grow up.”
Posting on Twitter, a local claimed that one of the men involved in the fight was a shopkeeper fuming at people driving past and pushing water into his store.

One Suffolk resident said: “Imagine your home is flooded, your car is f***ed, your family are distraught and you get a good kicking in cold disgusting water. What a day.”
Another said: “That’s a perfect vision of the future of the UK, right there.”
A third said: “That’s the most British thing I’ve ever seen.”
