LIONEL MESSI’S bodyguard has offered to step in the ring to fight Logan Paul as their bitter legal feud rages on.

YouTuber-turned-boxer and WWE star Paul offered out the Inter Miami ace amid an ongoing legal battle over copyright infringement of their respective energy drinks.

Mas+ by Messi was launched in 2024 with the aim of taking a chunk out of the market share of Prime, Paul‘s own brand started with former rival KSI in 2022.

It was noted how similar the products were in their branding and design. In response, Mas+ took legal action against PRIME, accusing them of forcing them to change their brand.

PRIME then countersued by claiming breaches of trademarked design. Paul, 29, called out the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner after blasting, “this ain’t justice”.

He said: “Brother, you copied us. Everyone saw it. They saw what you did. Everyone notices it and then we got sued. Hold on, wait, what? This ain’t justice.

“So we countersued, obviously. If you can’t beat the best, you gotta be the best. But that’s illegal. That’s trademark infringement.

“We’re holding him accountable, and it’s harassment? All jokes aside, I will consider dropping this if Logan Paul vs Messi [gets made in] 2025. I’ll see you in the ring, brother.”

In the same way a contest of football skills would be a mismatch, despite Paul starring during the recent Sidemen Charity Match, a fight between 6ft 1″ Paul and 5ft 7″ Messi likely won’t go anywhere.

However, Messi’s bodyguard Yassine Cheuko has offered to take his place.

Cheuko, 34, is a Muay Thai fighter and has gone viral for protecting Messi in the past during matches in Miami and during his time at Paris Saint-Germain.

The rumoured former Navy SEAL said of the fight: “Messi doesn’t even know who this guy is. If Logan really wants a fight, he can fight me, not a football player.”

Paul’s last boxing match ended in comical scenes in 2023 when rival Dillon Danis attempted a guillotine move on Paul, prompting a mass brawl.

Since then he has stepped into WWE, where he was crowned the United States Champion – a title he lost at the following SummerSlam.
