He beat Jenson Walker 3-2 in the Lakeside final in December to be crowned world champion.

And the 15-year-old has now signed a lucrative deal with Mission Darts following his four tournament wins this campaign.

Self had been tutored by former darts star Darryl Fitton, who he thanks after penning his deal, as well as Mission Darts product designer Steve Reed.

Self said in a press release: “I am delighted to have signed a new long-term contract with Mission.

“My darts have got better and better over the last few years because of the support and guidance I have received.

“Having Darryl Fitton and Steve Reed there at Lakeside supporting me to go on and win the WDF Boys World Championship meant a lot to me.

“The next few years are crucial in my career and I know that Mission will be there to support and help me with anything I need.

“I would also like to thank my family and friends as without them I would not be able to do what I do. I am looking forward to many more successful years with Mission!”

Littler, 18, previously had success on the JDC World Tour, winning the junior world championship twice in 2023 and 2024 before moving up to the Pro Tour.

Self has represented England with the Archer leading his team to World Cup victory in Gibraltar.
