It was this evening revealed he had tragically died.

The horror was said to have unfolded at a three-star Lanzarote hotel in the early hours of this morning.

Cops confirmed the teen was from the UK and said they were continuing to probe the tragedy.

Local forces said their initial investigation suggested the teen’s death had been an accident.

While the hotel where the teen fell has not been named, it is understood to have been Galeon Playa Apart-Hotel.

The three-star hotel’s website describes it as being in one of the most beautiful spots in the resort on the east coast of the island.

It is said to overlooking the water sports hub of Playa de Las Cucharas on one side and the charming sand beach of el Jablillo on the other.

The teen’s death comes just months after a Brit dad suffered a similar fate in the Canary Islands.

Dan Boyle, 31, was left fighting for his life after the shock fall on the first night of his week-long holiday with his girlfriend.

The dad-of-two, who was said to have plunged from a 30-foot balcony, was resuscitated on the pavement after the horror unfolded in June.

Dan, from Stockport, Greater Manchester, was rushed to hospital with a fractured skull, a fractured breast bone and ribs.

The same month a Brit bar owner was killed after he was said to have been thrown 13ft down stairs.

Chris Thomas, 50, who owned the Clock Bar in Lanzarote, tragically died a day after being rushed to hospital.
